We rank these on four things: the quality of the experience itself, how well it is organised, the value for money, and what real travellers say afterwards. Ratings and review counts come straight from GetYourGuide’s partner feed and are checked regularly.
We earn a commission if you book through the links below, at no cost to you — which is exactly why the ranking reflects the trips rather than the commission. Several of our top picks are also among the cheapest.

How to choose
If you book only one thing, make it Ang Thong: big boat if you value comfort and price, speedboat if you value time. Add a half-day at Pig Island if you are travelling with children, or the Koh Tao day if you came to snorkel. On land, the 4WD safari shows you a side of Samui most visitors never see.
Leave gaps between boat days — the sun and the sea take more out of you than you expect — and schedule sea trips early in the holiday so that a weather cancellation is not the end of the plan.
